WHAT WE ARE DOING

GROWING IN JESUS - SHARING HIS LOVE is the Holy Savior Church vision. We want to help you take your next step to become more like Jesus Christ and, in turn, to help others do the same. We offer services, activities, and relationships that reflect the love of God we have received and invite others to share it with us. Everything we say and do is measured by how it promotes and enables everyone from the youngest to the most advanced in years to grow in Jesus and share his love.

HOW WE ARE DOING IT

GATHER - GROW - GO is the Holy Savior Church mission. More than just talk, we offer ways to make progress and move toward the vision with opportunities for both you individually and all of us together as a faith community. They are not an order or sequence to be done one after the other. Gathering, growing, and going are all done together in concert like a musical chord with three notes. Participation in all three together is our best bet to grow in Jesus and share His love.

GATHER

There are three things we do as a faith community that are best done in a large group of people - singing together, listening to a sermon together, and networking with others. All of us being in the same place at the same time really enhance and make them possible. All three motivate, inform, and direct our gathering on Sunday mornings at 10:30.

GROW

When we talk about growing, we are not talking about how many church activities you participate in or how much you give. We are talking about a person becoming more like Jesus in how they love God and love others. Like a physical health regime, we look for specific spiritual growth indicators to assess and foster a disciple’s potential to not just survive, but to thrive.

GO

We believe the operative word in Jesus’ great commission is the word “go”, but the original language could be understood “as you go”. The mission field is where you are. For some it will be overseas and for others it will be at the park for a play date. Whenever and wherever God leads, we seek to help give a reason for the hope we have with gentleness and respect.
